It is mainly a highly efficient inhibitor of zinc and sulfur in the flotation of copper, lead, zinc, silver, or lead-zinc-silver sulfide ores, which can play a positive role in improving the recovery rate of silver; it also has an inhibitory effect on pyrite and arsenopyrite in the flotation of gold-antimony minerals containing pyrite and arsenopyrite, and is generally used in weakly alkaline pulp.
